Meet Laura
Laura is a Vermont-based artist, farmer, and researcher whose work bridges fine art and fieldwork, grounding fiber practice directly in the landscapes of the Champlain Islands.
Through growing bast fibers, collaborating within regional Fibershed networks, and helping produce the first all-local hemp garments in the modern Northeast, she advances a vision of textiles rooted in place, research, and possibility.
